About the Artist
I was born December 21, 1979, about an hour outside of Cleveland Ohio. In the summer of 1985 I moved to Coppell TX, which is a suburb of Dallas.

As a child I spent most of my time outside playing every type of sport there is with the neighborhood kids (I was a big tomboy). I never missed a season of soccer where I played all positions but enjoyed playing goalie the most. I played soccer for my high school my freshman and sophomore year and then my interests changed thanks to some broken ribs and the poor coaching staff there. I then joined a youth group and got very involved with their yearly trips and enjoyed mountain biking on the weekends.

My Dad, who was fed up with the corporate world moved my family to Naples, FL to open up his own business my senior year of high school. He instals Epicore which is a special type of flooring they use in Florida which stands up good to hurricanes. I stayed here in TX and lived with my neighbors to graduate with my class. During my last year of high school I got a job as a carhop at Sonic and had little time to do any outside activities.

After graduation I stayed in TX despite my parents wishes. I attended North Lake College in Irving TX for two years and worked. Here is where I completed some of my basics and learned that I had a love and talent for art. I then transferred to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth TX and I am now entering my fifth semester here. I plan to graduate in May 03. I am planning to double major with a BA in Graphic Design and a BA in Studio Art with an emphasis on printmaking. Using printmaking techniques, I try to focus on creating digital art using various programs like Photo shop, quark and illustrator because of its relation to my approach to graphic design.

Plans are still unknown after I graduate.

I am creating this web site to display work that I have done in college for friends, family and others who are interested to see.
